Gokarna Poudyal,
In today’s age, computers are becoming useful for every task. At this time, due to the epidemic of Covid 19, some schools are also bringing online classes into operation. The screens of computers, laptops, and mobiles used in this online classroom, directly and indirectly, affect the eyes.
Problems such as eye fatigue, headaches, fatigue, insomnia, and anger can occur continuously when reading or working on a computer.
As the computer screen generates a static electrical charge, dust particles are attracted to it and reach the inside of the eye, causing effects such as dryness, itching, and allergies.
The letters and shapes seen on the computer screen are made up of dots and these electronic dots are constantly moving. When we look at the screen constantly, our eyes also move and keep pace with the movement of these dots so that we can see the letters correctly.
Now how to protect the eyes?
1. Take a five-minute break every half hour without constantly looking at the computer.
2. Work with a distance of at least 20 inches between the computer screen and the eyes.
3. Do not work by keeping the computer in sunlight. Take care not to see the bright and bright light from the head without looking at the computer even in very bright light.
4. Sitting on the floor, not working on laptop or computer, eye convergence exercise.
5. If you are working on the computer with the written paper, keep the paper with the computer screen, if the level of both is different, it will have more effect on the eyes.
6. If the eyes feel dry and itchy, apply eye drops on the advice of an eye specialist.
