KATHMANDU — Samragyee RL Shah once again proved why she remains one of the country’s most influential style icons, captivating fashion enthusiasts with a striking evening editorial that seamlessly blended timeless elegance with contemporary glamour.
Set against Kathmandu’s twilight skyline, Shah embraced high-fashion sophistication in a floor-length black column gown featuring a structured off-the-shoulder neckline. The figure-hugging silhouette highlighted clean tailoring and refined minimalism, while the luxurious fabric added depth and texture to the monochromatic ensemble.

The standout feature of the look was a dramatic floor-sweeping train extending from the waist, detailed with shimmering metallic pinstripes that reflected the ambient evening light. The flowing train created a sense of movement and theatrical elegance, elevating the gown into a statement piece.
A subtle thigh-high slit brought modern appeal to the classic silhouette, paired with transparent minimalist heels that allowed the focus to remain on the architectural design of the dress. Completing the ensemble, Shah opted for a sleek high-fashion topknot bun, soft glam makeup in warm neutral tones, and elegant drop earrings, resulting in a polished look that balanced sophistication with understated luxury.
Beyond making headlines for her latest fashion moment, Samragyee RL Shah is also preparing for her much-anticipated return to the silver screen after a two-year hiatus.

The actress has officially signed on to play the lead role of Ash in the upcoming Nepali feature film Ekka Missi Badshah. According to the production team, the character represents a bold and adventurous woman, offering Shah a refreshing departure from her previous on-screen portrayals and serving as one of the key reasons behind her return to feature films.
Directed by UK-based filmmaker Sanjay Rai in his feature directorial debut, Ekka Missi Badshah explores themes of modern youth culture, the influence of social media, and evolving relationships among childhood friends. The film carries the tagline, “Kohi Jitchhan, Kohi Harchhan, Kohi Badshah Banchhan.”
Produced under the banner of Mohini Devi Rai, the production is currently holding auditions for two major male lead characters, Krish and Arjun, with principal photography expected to commence early next year.
With both an impressive fashion statement and an exciting cinematic comeback on the horizon, Samragyee RL Shah continues to reinforce her position as one of Nepal’s leading contemporary style and entertainment icons.
