KATHMANDU, Sept 14 — The Pashupatinath Temple premises witnessed a massive surge of female devotees early Monday morning on the occasion of Haritalika Teej.

Dressed in vibrant red attire, traditional glass bangles (chura), and holy necklaces (pote), women gathered at the revered Hindu shrine to perform rituals and offer prayers to Lord Shiva. Devotees observing a day-long fast visited the temple complex from the early hours to seek blessings for marital harmony, longevity of their spouses, and family well-being.

Haritalika Teej is one of the most prominent festivals celebrated with great religious fervor and enthusiasm by Hindu women across Nepal.
