The story of the movie ‘Dobaaraa‘ has become interesting. The movie keeps the audience enthralled from start to finish. It is a thriller movie, in which actors like Taapsee Pannu, Pavel Gulati, Rahul Bhatt can be seen acting. ‘Dobaaraa‘ is a remake of the Spanish movie ‘Mirage’.
The story is set in the year 1996 in the town of Hinjewadi in Pune. 12-year-old Anay (Pankaj Rajput) is overjoyed to see a video of his father amid cyclone predictions. That night in the midst of heavy rain, he witnesses his neighbor being murdered by Raja Ghosh (Shaswat Chatterjee). Raja is killed when he is hit by a speeding fire truck as he moves to catch her. From there the story shifts to the year 2021. At the hospital, nurse Antara Awasthi (Taapsee Pannu) lives with her husband Vikas (Rahul Bhatt) and daughter who works in a hotel. They realize that this is the same house where Anay used to live. Antara learns about Anay’s past.
The twist in the story comes when both of them are talking to each other on TV. After so many years, the past repeats itself. Anay again tries to go to the neighbor’s house, but this time Taapsee saves her. The movie is based on the story of what happens next. Taapsee has done justice to her role. His acting is very important in the movie. Rahul Bhatt’s performance in the role of Vikas is unforgettable. His character is interesting in both worlds.
Shashwat Chatterjee’s performance in the role of Bob Vishwas in the story of the movie forces the audience to stay in the theater for three hours. Pankaj Rajput’s variety of roles make the audience more excited. Time travel is shown in the movie and a murder mystery is also included in the movie. After watching the movie, the audience is eager to know about both.
The specialty of the movie is that it keeps the audience intrigued from the beginning to the end. The audience does not get bored watching the movie. The direction and screenplay of the movie is excellent. Director Anurag Kashyap always makes films on different stories. He has tried to use something new in this too.
