Arjun Kapoor and John Abraham starrer movie Ek Villain Returns is on display from Friday. Villain Returns is a sequel to the 2014 movie Ek Villain starring Ritesh Desmukh and Siddharth Malhotra. The action of Arjun and John can be seen in the movie. The movie is full of action and suspense.
But the movie has not been able to give as much as the audience expected. The 2 hours and 10 minutes of the movie may make the viewer feel bored till the end. A sequel is not as strong as Ek Villain. There is nothing new about the story. Even for those who like love stories, its story structure will not attract the audience.
In the sequel of the movie from which Riteish won the Best Negative Role award, the villain’s act does not have that power in Villain Returns.
The villain is not revealed until the first half of the movie. The second half is trying to give a twist. As the old memories and current situations are repeatedly shown in the movie, the audience can get monotonous while watching the movie. In the movie, the villain is shown as a serial killer who sees other cheaters like him and targets them and kills their love ones.
Directed by Mohit Suri the film which features Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutari has been making waves in the run-up to its release. But the question remains, will the film entice the audience at the box office, or will it like recent releases fade away? However, going by reports, the film was expected to open on a good note. It has earned 7.5 crore on the first day of release.
