From Friday, three films including one Hindi and one English including Nepali ‘Overdose’ have been screened. Of the three films released, ‘Tadap’ is in Hindi and ‘Encanto’ is in English.
Out of these three, the Hindi film ‘Tadap’ has been given high shows by halls across the country. Nepali films have been hit hard due to high shows in Hindi and English films in some halls. Halls like QFX Chain, Big Movie have not given a show to Overdose.
‘Overdose’ is a film based on the story of two Nepali youths living in the United States. The story and direction of Suman Poudel are in the film. The film stars Pranish Raj Pant, Savin Jung Thapa, Bina Shrestha, Sadiksha Karki, and others.
Similarly, ‘Tadap’ is a film starring Ahan Setti and Tara Sutaria. The film is based on the story of romance and revenge and is produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Productions. ‘Encanto’ is a 3D movie.
