On World Heritage Day, a heritage walk was conducted in the Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, featuring a 1336-meter thread representing global heritage. The term “1336” signifies the elevation from sea level to Kathmandu’s heights. The event commenced at Patan Dhoka Bata and culminated at Patan Durbar Square. On Thursday, artist Manish Lal Shrestha presented his “Project 1336” installation in the Patan Durbar Square area during the World Heritage Day celebrations.
