inDrive Launches Officially in Nepal

Global mobility and urban services platform, inDrive, has officially commenced its operations in Nepal, promising transparent conditions and fair commissions. With a commission charge capped at 10% for drivers, inDrive aims to ensure equitable and affordable rides for both drivers and passengers.

Unlike conventional ride-hailing apps, inDrive adopts a people-to-people model, empowering users to negotiate fares independently within the app. Passengers have the freedom to propose fares or select from multiple driver offers based on vehicle model, driver rating, and arrival time.

Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead at inDrive, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion, emphasizing the brand’s mission to challenge injustice globally. Rita Pokhrel, Director of inDrive Nepal, highlighted the significance of the launch for Nepal’s ride-hailing industry, emphasizing the partnership with IME Pay for seamless and secure payments.
