Kathmandu — The song ‘Mahaul Garam’ from director Roshan Das’s upcoming film Pratibairam has been released in four languages—Nepali, Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri—as part of the film’s promotional campaign.
The Nepali version has been released through OSR Digital, while the Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri versions have been released by Adarsh Production.
The Nepali version features lyrics by Roshan Das and music by Manish Adhikari, with vocals by Hrithika Shrestha. Actress Priyanka Karki appears as ‘Basanti’ in the song. The Hindi version, titled ‘Jawani Kaatil,’ features vocals by Shivani Bhagat and lyrics by Love Karn.
The Maithili version, ‘Jawani Seho Kaatil,’ and the Bhojpuri version, ‘Gaunwa Ba Ghayal,’ feature lyrics by Suman Mandal and vocals by Samiksha Chaudhary.
Alongside Priyanka Karki, the song features Nabin Shrestha, Roni Yadav, Narayan BK and Pradeep Dhakal. Beyond its entertainment-focused dance sequences, the song also offers glimpses of several action sequences from the film. Toward the end of the song, debutant actor Samrat Das is presented in an action avatar.
Pratibairam marks Samrat Das’s debut as an actor. The song has been cinematographed by Nitesh Ghatan and Hari Dhakal, choreographed by Surendra Basel, and edited by Kabir Od and Pankaj Mahato. The VFX is handled by Sameer Miyan.
Pankaj Mahato serves as the line producer, while Santosh Malla and Khemraj Koirala are the chief assistant directors. The assistant direction team includes Srijana Bhujel, Agni Subedi, Dhiraj Raut and Kushal Pokhrel.
Bicky Shah is the executive producer, with Rakesh Shah as creative producer and Anish Pokhrel as co-producer. Rajan Devi and Rita Devi are associate producers. The film is produced by Harsha Kumar Yadav and Satyaraj Chaulagain.
The story and direction are by Roshan Das, while Yubaraj Bhattarai is credited for the screenplay, dialogue and writing.
Presented by Rage Entertainment, Pratibairam is produced in collaboration with Adarsh Production, Simple Ad Media and Shreeyan Entertainment. The film is scheduled for nationwide theatrical release on Mangsir 4 and will be distributed by National Cinema Group.
Set against the social landscape of Nepal’s Madhesh region, Pratibairam combines action, relationships, crime and revenge. According to the production team, the film will be released in Nepali, Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri, extending its reach across multiple linguistic audiences.
