
Fashion Network Nepal has organized the No Shave November Fashion for Cause Event on 27th November 2021, Saturday at Chhaya Center, Thamel, Kathmandu. The event idea was initiated by Fashion Coach, Choreographer, and Actor Prasant Tamrakar to raise awareness and help against Cancer.

No-Shave November is a month-long campaign observed worldwide every year in order to educate, raise awareness and funding for cancer prevention, research and education, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

No Shave November – Fashion for Cause, an event initiated to raise awareness and gather various personalities in one place to “Walk the Runway” and collect/donate funds, support the battle against Cancer was participated by various Celebrities, professionals, Families, and Kids. All of them graced the runway and showed their solidarity against the battle against cancer holding various play cards containing awareness and support messages. Numerous Companies and brands supported and sponsored this event to extend their support.

Among the participants were Kamala Shrestha, President of Nepal Soundarya Kala Byabasai Sangh and Senior Beautician, Veteran Actor Saroj Khanal, Media Personalities Malvika Subba, Sareeta Shree Gyawali, Sameer Mani Dixit, Urusha Joshi, Miss Nepal Evana Manandhar, Famous Singer Abhaya Subba, Dr. Suzita Hirachan, Nepal Breast Cancer Foundation, Actor and Director of South India Film Bishnu Adhikari and many other distinguished guests along with other participants.

The event was further made vibrant by the energetic performance of Singer Almoda Rana Uprety, Megha Shrestha, Afreeta Khadgi, and Sandesh Rai Koirala.

The Founders of Fashion Network Nepal, Mr. Prasant Tamrakar and Mr. Shekhar Raj Kashaju said the raised fund through runway participation would be handed over to the Nepal Cancer Relief Society and Nepal Breast Cancer Foundation. Prasant Tamrakar further added, “The overwhelming response and support has motivated us for the cause and we are dedicated to conducting this event in bigger and more effective ways in upcoming years.”
