Kathmandu: The Hidden Treasure has officially opened applications for the much-awaited Miss Nepal 2026 pageant, inviting aspiring young women from across Nepal and the Nepali diaspora abroad to compete in the country’s most prestigious beauty competition.
According to the organizers, applications for Miss Nepal 2026 will remain open until June 8, 2026 (Jestha 25, 2083). The grand finale is scheduled to be held at The Plaza on Saturday, August 1, 2026 (Shrawan 16, 2083), and will be broadcast live on himalayantv.
This year’s competition will crown three titleholders — Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Cosmo, and Miss Nepal International.
The organization highlighted the successful international participation of last year’s winners. Sony Ghale represented Nepal at Miss Earth 2025 in Manila, Philippines, where she won the Talent Round on November 5, 2025. Likewise, Urusha Bhandari participated in Miss International 2025 held in Tokyo on November 27, 2025, while Deepshikha Nepal represented Nepal at Miss Cosmo 2025 in Vietnam on December 20, 2025.
To be eligible for Miss Nepal 2026, applicants must be between 18 and 27 years old, possess Nepali citizenship, and have a minimum height of 5 feet 3 inches. Nepali women residing abroad may also apply using an NRN card issued by the Home Ministry. Organizers stated that registration is completely free.
As part of the nationwide search, auditions and promotional activities will take place in Birtamod, Itahari, Butwal, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Janakpur. In Kathmandu, the Miss Nepal activation campaign will be conducted across 10 colleges. The final audition round is set for June 9, 2026 (Jestha 26, 2083) in Kathmandu.
The selected contestants will undergo extensive grooming and training before competing in the finale.
The Hidden Treasure also announced Kajaria Ceramics as the main title sponsor for this year’s event, while Shree Nataraj Jewelers joins as co-sponsor and crown partner.
Organizers have encouraged interested applicants to apply through the official Miss Nepal website and the Miss Nepal mobile application.
