
KATHMANDU: Durbarmarg was filled with music, food, games, and large crowds on Saturday during the 19th edition of the Durbar Marg Street Festival, held under the theme “Xtreme Saturday.”

The Mavericks Group and Arbitrary Events organized the festival along with the Durbarmarg Development Board.
Sponsored by Xtreme Energy Drink, the free-entry event featured food stalls, 3-on-3 basketball games, e-sports competitions, cosplay walks, cultural shows, and live music performances.

Thousands of young people gathered at the festival throughout the day. Even after the rain started in the evening, the crowd stayed and continued enjoying the event late into the night.

Celebrities were also seen at the festival promoting their upcoming movies and interacting with visitors.

The annual street festival has become one of Kathmandu’s popular youth events, bringing together music, sports, entertainment, and street culture.
