On Saturday, Kathmandu Fashion Week, organized by Fashion Designer Center Nepal, dazzled the city with an extravagant style display. The event featured a runway showcasing creations by Nepal’s renowned designers, where models strutted in exquisite outfits crafted by top fashion talents. The venue saw a host of celebrities and business figures in attendance.
The fashion show presented designs from nine distinct designer brands and collections. Among the highlights were KASA, Mishu, Abir, Manish Rai, Women’s Planet, Swoning Design, Kallisto Design, Rajesh Dhakhwa, and Mukku’s creations. The showcased collections were tailored to winter wear, bridal attire, and casual wear.
The primary objective of the fashion show was to promote Nepalese fashion and designers on an international level. Like New York Fashion Week, Kathmandu Fashion Week aimed to establish a unique fashion identity and significance in Nepal. The event sought to imbue Nepalese fashion with the same prestige and relevance as its global counterparts.
