Kathmandu: Nepal Bhasa’s first OTT platform ‘Newa-Flix’ has been officially announced at Kirtipur Cineplex. The platform is presented by Elohang Entertainment to stream Nepal Bhasa films and music videos online.
The event was attended by Dinesh DC, Chairperson of the Nepal Film Development Board, as the chief guest.
Speaking at the event, Darshanbir Shakya said the platform was developed after two years of effort with technical support from Plutonic Media. He expressed confidence that Newa-Flix will help promote Nepal Bhasa cinema and reach audiences who cannot access cinema halls.
The program was chaired by Pragyadevi Shakya, who said the platform aims to take Nepal Bhasa films, culture, and heritage to a global audience through digital media.
